It is in my city, every year in 20th August, on one of Hungary's major state holidays.
The figures are from flowers (mostly dry but sometimes fresh, too).
Entertainers, for example folk dance clubs come from all parts of the world.
It is spectacular!

Perhaps some of you have similar carnivals. I would especially like to read about Rio's or Venice's, but you can post your pictures from another city, too...

Carneval in  Rió!
